The brief was to design a new pay as you go handset for Orange. The target market was 16-34 year olds who have lots of friends, love socialising and are technologically able.

My solution was to design a mobile that takes advantage of the images people capture and store on their phones. By framing the screen and adding a prop, the device can be used as a digital photo frame to display images or slide shows wherever you are. This allows the device to integrate into day to day scenarios such as using it as a bedside alarm clock or to display personal photos at your work desk.

The keypad slides sideways and the call answer buttons wrap over the edge and are accessible when closed.

The phone features a pop-up alarm clock button which is pushed down to turn off the alarm.
