The brief was to design a new pay as you go handset for Orange. The target market was 16-34 year olds who have lots of friends, love socialising and are technologically able. My solution was to design a mobile that takes advantage of the images people capture and store on their phones. By framing the screen and adding a prop, the device can be used as a digital photo frame to display images or slide shows wherever you are. This allows the device to integrate into day to day scenarios such as using it as a bedside alarm clock or to display personal photos at your work desk. The keypad slides sideways and the call answer buttons wrap over the edge and are accessible when closed. |
